"PUT EM' ON!"

"Supertrash" is a film fest going on soon in Portland, Oregon. It involves the screening a bunch of really great awful movies (Robocop 2, Big Trouble in Little China, Roadhouse, and Re-Animator are among the titles being shown). It also involves an art show of re-imagined "trash" movie posters.

What you see above is my submission for said show. A poster for the 1988 (Rowdy) Roddy Piper vehicle, They Live. Naturally inspired by the epic centerpiece battle between Piper's character and the equally formidable (and bad-ass) Keith David. I only wish I could have somehow incorporated sunglasses. They just didn't seem to fit.
